In this video Shelter uses the juxtaposition between the two scenes of fiction and reality to highlight the struggles many children are facing when at risk of homelessness. This video highlights how these children have to use their imagination to escape their harsh reality , through the difference between the saturated space scene and the realistic house scene -creating sympathy for the child’s situation and encouraging donations to the charity. The use of a child would likely create more sympathy than if an adult is represented as children are often perceived as helpless and pure.
